Amazon's buyer protection is outstanding: I packed up the defect, printed return label, sent back, full refund. However, I knew other individuals were enjoying their Syma copters and I saw fun web vids showing S107 in action - spectacular flights.
Worth a retry! Jaded but smarter, I searched enthusiasts' blogs. One particular photo-packed blog claimed some counterfeit S107s had been being sold but they recommended purchasing from Amazon reseller "Superstition Hobbies" who sells the genuine Syma products and replacement components. I took the bait, ordered this paired set from that reseller (plus spare rotor blades which I know can ultimately wear a bit).
Achievement! Two gorgeous S107s, fly beautifully, have tremendous build excellent, superb power, nicely maneuverable as they hover, turn, fly. The discounted cost is especially cost-effective, and it really is excellent to have a pair so I can recharge 1, though flying the other.
Inside weeks I purchased a third (as a gift) from Superstition Hobbies. Tested wonderful! I know my pal will really like it.
