This is a terrific kit for any person with a Syma S107G. I have utilised three of the components in the kit so far: Two rotor blades and the vertical tail fin. My top rated two rotors had been getting battered from crashing into every thing from doorways to dinner tables. After diverse rough landings the vertical tail fin snapped, as it touches the ground when you land. That had occurred to my first Syma S107G, when I did not have a repair kit. That doesn't affect flying, but it does take away some of the heli's "cool element". Overall, this is a great kit, and if I had an additional Syma I would without a doubt decide to buy this item once again.
1 complaint: the screws are TINY and particularly frustrating to handle. A single of mine got lost INSIDE the helicopter and I had to get it out with tweezers. This item got 4 stars for being educational for the reason that it teaches you to have steady hands and keep your cool for the duration of a tense situation.
Components are similar, but not really the identical. I purchased this package simply because I had a broken tail. The clip that attaches to the tail isn't the similar and makes it possible for the tail to move and spin freely, forcing me to cease and set it back up straight just about every time it moves out of place. For me this is a big discomfort and ruins the complete set! Like other reviewers have mentioned, the balance bar is not the similar either.
