Avoid this charger at all cost, as a further reviewer said, it is unquestionably wired incorrectly. When I inserted the charger into the helicopter, the blades began to spin even though the helicopter was in the off position. I then smelled smoke....coming from my computer system. This lovely little charger shorted out two of my USB ports on my pc leaving a beautiful burnt smell. Be conscious DO NOT Acquire Stars

Don't charge your helicopter from the controller and waste all the batteries. This thing will charge your helicopter up in 45 minutes, give or take. Operates superb and has a light that lets you know when it is completely charged.
